Data deletion

Last updated: October 18, 2026

This page explains how you can have your personal data deleted from repliso, including data that comes from Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. What you can do depends on your role.

1. You have a repliso account

Sign in, open Settings and find “Data & account”. “Delete my account” deletes your account once you confirm with your current password. Before you delete it you can download an export of your workspace data on the same screen.

If you are the only owner of a workspace, the app may stop the deletion until you have taken care of that workspace; write to us if you need help. Your account data, sign-in sessions and verification data are deleted. Nightly backups of our databases are kept for seven days, so deleted data can remain in a backup for up to seven days.

2. You connected a Facebook Page, an Instagram account or WhatsApp

Open Channels, find the account under “Your accounts” and disconnect it. The access token that repliso stored for it is deleted immediately, and repliso can no longer read or send messages for that account.

Disconnecting in repliso does not remove the permission you gave on Meta's side. To remove it, open your Facebook or Instagram settings, go to the list of connected apps and websites (business integrations) and remove repliso there.

Messages and customer records that were already received stay in your workspace until you delete them or delete your account. You can erase or export the data of a single customer in the customer's record, under its privacy tools.

3. You wrote to a business that uses repliso

If you sent a message to a business on Instagram, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp or its website chat, and that business uses repliso, then that business decides what happens to the conversation. repliso only processes it on the business's behalf (see section 1 of our privacy policy).

Please ask the business to delete your data. You can also ask us (see below): we pass your request on to the business and help it carry the request out.

4. Ask us directly

Write to privacy@repliso.com with the subject “Data deletion”, or use our contact form. Tell us your repliso account e-mail address, or the name of the business you wrote to, the platform and the name, handle or phone number you used, so that we can find the data. We may ask you to confirm that the account or handle is yours. We answer within one month.

Never send us passwords, access tokens or your Facebook or Instagram login details; we do not need them.

5. What is deleted and what is not

We delete the personal data we are responsible for. For conversation data we follow the business's instructions. We keep data only where the law requires it or where we need it to defend legal claims, for example the record of a newsletter consent. Copies in our nightly backups disappear within seven days.

Data that Meta, Google or Telegram hold under their own privacy policies is not deleted by us; use their privacy settings and request tools. More about how we handle data: Privacy policy.
